We are seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to lead and elevate our enterprise‑wide safety and environmental programs across multiple U.S. shop and field operations. This is a highly visible executive leadership opportunity for a hands‑on EHS professional who is passionate about building a world‑class safety culture while ensuring regulatory excellence.

What You'll Do- Champion a proactive, zero‑incident safety culture across multi‑site shop and field operations.
- Develop and execute company‑wide EHS programs that ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local regulations.
- Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP) initiatives for chemical processing operations.
- Direct incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.

- Conduct site audits, field observations, and safety coaching across multiple locations.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs, including HAZWOPER, LOTO, confined space, chemical handling, emergency response, and DOT Haz Mat.
- Partner with executive leadership on acquisitions by leading EHS due diligence and post‑acquisition integration.
- Establish and track key safety metrics, develop annual EHS strategy, and manage departmental budgets.
- Serve as the company's senior EHS advisor during regulatory inspections and emergency response situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10–15+ years of progressive EHS experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Hands‑on experience within chemical processing, petrochemical, specialty chemicals, industrial services, or similar operations‑heavy environments.
- Proven success leading multi‑site, multi‑state EHS programs.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, Process Safety Management (PSM), EPA Risk Management Program (RMP), HAZWOPER, and environmental compliance.
- Experience managing regulatory inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective action programs.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, OSHA 30, or HAZWOPER 40 are highly preferred.
- Executive leadership role with enterprise‑wide influence.
- Opportunity to shape and strengthen safety culture across a growing national organization.
- Partner directly with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and acquisitions.
- Make a lasting impact by protecting employees, supporting operational success, and driving continuous improvement.
