With operations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, this growing organization is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Operations to join their leadership team. This newly created position will free the CEO to focus on business development and company growth while you take ownership of day-to-day operations, provide leadership to site directors, drive provider productivity, and implement operational efficiencies across multiple locations.

Opportunity

As Vice President of Operations, you will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in leading the operational excellence of a growing healthcare organization with approximately 65 employees. This newly created position will free the CEO to focus on business development and company growth while you take ownership of day-to-day operations, provide leadership to site directors, drive provider productivity, and implement operational efficiencies across multiple locations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide leadership to directors across all sites, ensuring alignment with company mission and values
  • Build a supportive, high-performing culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics and scorecards to ensure all sites meet or exceed established KPIs
  • Drive provider productivity and efficiency by identifying and addressing barriers to optimal performance
  • Develop and manage site budgets, ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining high-quality care standards
  • Lead the operational integration of new sites as the company expands
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and quality metrics
  • Provide regular performance reports to the executive team, identifying areas for improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including hospital executives and referring providers
  • Oversee staff onboarding and training programs across all sites
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in outpatient or inpatient healthcare operations management
  • Proven experience managing multi-site healthcare operations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive provider productivity and operational efficiency
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise directors and hold teams accountable
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and improving cost-efficiency
  • Proficiency with healthcare technologies/systems (EMRs, productivity software)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field
  • Experience with pulmonary, critical care, sleep services, or hospital medicine
  • Data analytics experience
  • Change management experience
  • Experience handling the operational integration of new sites or facilities
Benefits

  • Competitive base salary range: $150,000-$190,000
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity: 7.5-12.5% tied to KPIs (provider productivity, site-level performance, successful integration of new sites)
