Tape Edge Machine Operator
An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Worcester, MA area for an individual with 3+ years’ experience as a Tape Edge Machine Operator and a Quilting Machine Operator with a background in the bedding industry. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Short/Long Term Disability, Life insurance, PTO and other outstanding perks.
All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:
- Operate and adjust a tape edge machine, such as the Atlanta Attachment Automatic or similar machines, to stitch and bind mattress edges according to specifications.
- Align mattress components accurately and ensure consistent, high-quality stitching and finished product standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Inspect finished mattresses for defects and ensure compliance with quality and production requirements.
- Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate issues to supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

- Operate quilting, cutting, and sewing equipment in a mattress/textile manufacturing environment.
- Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production machinery, such as Paragon and/or older legacy machines.
- Ensure product quality through inspections, measurements, and adherence to production standards.
- Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Utilize strong mechanical skills and experience operating quilting or textile manufacturing equipment.
