Textile Sewing Operator

Two (2) outstanding,
full-time openings have become available with a well-established bedding manufacturer in the Worcester, MA area for individuals with a background in the sewing industry
. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Short/Long Term Disability, Life insurance, PTO and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

(1) Sewing / Quilting Worker

• Operate quilting, cutting, stitching, sewing equipment in a manufacturing
  environment
  .
• Knowledge of set up, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair and perform basic maintenance on production
  machinery
  , such as Paragon and/or olderlegacy machines is PREFERRED
  .
• Ensure product quality through inspections, measurements, and adherence to production standards.

• Operate and adjust a tape
  edge
  machine
  , such as the Atlanta
  Attachment
  Automatic or similar machines, to stitch and bind mattress edges.
• Align mattress components accurately and ensure consistent, high-quality stitching and finished product standards.
• Perform routine machine
  maintenance
  , minor repairs, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Inspect
  finished
  mattresses for defects and ensure compliance with quality and production requirements.
