Wire Cutter

The Panther Group is seeking a Wire Cutter to join our client’s manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate wire and cable cutting equipment to prepare materials according to customer and production specifications. This is an entry-level opportunity, and no previous manufacturing experience is required. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands‑on production environment.

• Load wire and cable onto production equipment.
• Measure and cut wire and cable according to job specifications.
• Spool and bundle finished wire and cable appropriately.
• Complete production orders accurately based on required type, length, and size.
• Verify equipment is operating properly and report issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Follow work instructions and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic care of production equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily requirements.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is helpful, but not required.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically 3–4 hours at a time.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Good visual attention and the ability to work with small components.
• Manual dexterity is required for handling wire and cable.
• Work may involve repetitive tasks and visual inspection.
• Some areas of the facility may not be climate controlled.
• Employees may occasionally be exposed to heat, dust, or other minor workplace conditions associated with a manufacturing environment.

Pay $17.50 per hour W2
