We’re working with a fast-growing advanced manufacturing business in Massachusetts to hire an experienced Additive Manufacturing Operations Manager
.
This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for process development and production execution
, supporting the manufacture of complex components for demanding aerospace, defense and industrial applications.
- Own the performance, maintenance and utilization of LPBF equipment.
- Lead LPBF process and parameter development through qualification and production.
- Manage production builds, machine scheduling and manufacturing priorities.
- Lead and develop machine operators and maintenance personnel.
- Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers and technical suppliers.
- Drive improvements in build quality, yield, reliability and machine availability.
- Support new product introduction and industrialization>
- 5+ years of hands-on LPBF / metal additive manufacturing experience.
- Strong process and parameter development expertise.
- Experience taking additive components from development through qualification into production.
- Experience with LPBF equipment ownership, maintenance and production operations.
- Previous technical or manufacturing leadership experience.
- Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
