Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Senior Employer Branding Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that highlight our culture, values, and employee experience to attract top talent and engage current employees. This role combines storytelling, content creation, video and photography production, and data‑driven program design to position CMT as an employer of choice. You’ll own the employee‑facing content that shapes how it feels to work here — from the company newsletter to the videos and photos that show the real humans behind the mission — and you’ll support the in‑person events that bring our culture to life.
This role reports to the Head of Branding and Internal Communications.
- Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive employer branding strategy aligned with CMT’s culture and talent goals.
- Own the company newsletter end‑to‑end — editorial calendar, writing, editing, and measurement — making it something employees actually open and read.
- Craft compelling content across written, social, video, and photo formats (social posts, career site updates, blogs, internal comms, employee spotlights, team stories, recruiting videos, event recaps) that highlights our mission, values, and employee experience, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Build and run crowdsourced content programs that get people across the company creating — employee creator programs, content challenges, employee advocacy — equipping teammates with templates, prompts, and light coaching so the stories come from the people living them.
- Partner with People Operations, Marketing, and Leadership to design campaigns that engage potential candidates and inspire current employees.
- Analyze eNPS, engagement survey data, and other employee sentiment metrics to identify what’s working and where to invest — then design programs that move the numbers.
- Monitor and manage CMT’s employer reputation across online sources where candidates and employees rate us — Glassdoor, Linked In, Google, Indeed, Comparably, Built In, and emerging platforms — tracking sentiment, responding to reviews, surfacing themes for leadership, and building proactive engagement strategies.
- Manage external partners when needed — videographers, photographers, freelance writers, designers, and agencies — keeping work on brand, on schedule, and on budget.
- Provide general support for in‑person employee and recruiting events — offsites, all‑hands, career fairs, campus recruiting, ERG events — from planning through on‑site execution.
- Analyze campaign performance and employer brand metrics to refine strategies and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead projects to amplify our presence in the job market, including developing employee advocacy programs, applying for workplace awards, and partnering with industry organizations.
- Work across teams to identify opportunities for alignment between employer branding efforts and broader brand and content goals.
- Stay updated on employer branding trends, tools, and technologies to keep strategies fresh and competitive.
- Complete any additional tasks as they arise.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in employer branding, internal communications, talent marketing, content creation, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic branding initiatives that deliver measurable results.
- Exceptional storytelling skills, with experience crafting engaging content across written, social, video, and photo formats.
- Fluency with video editing — you can take raw footage and turn it into something worth watching, using tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Cap Cut, or similar.
- Comfortable behind a camera — shooting and editing photography for newsletters, social, the career site, and on‑site event coverage.
- Experience building programs that get other people creating — employee advocacy, creator programs, crowdsourced content — and the coaching instincts to make non‑marketers comfortable contributing.
- Analytical mindset — comfortable working with eNPS, engagement survey data, and campaign…
