Entry-level management focused on supporting specific program orproject areas. Responsibilities:
Executes day-to-day operations within the assigned area, contributes to strategic planning efforts, and assists with project oversight to meet immediateorganizational needs. Impact:
Plays a critical role in achieving operational efficiencies and supporting the team in meeting short-term goals. (Typically requiring 3-5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree preferred)

The Assistant Director of Class Engagement plays a critical role in fostering strong connections between alumni and the College. This position is responsible for managing class-based volunteer program sand leading milestone Reunion fundraising campaigns to drive alumniparticipation and philanthropic support. The Assistant Director works closely with staff colleagues and volunteers to inspiremeaningful engagement, cultivate a culture of philanthropy, and achieve participation and revenue goals that support the College'scomprehensive campaign.

• Recruit, train, and support alumni class volunteers, with a particular focus on class chairs and Reunion committees. Oversee
  15-20 non-Reunion classes and three milestone classes.

• Provide strategic guidance, resources, and ongoing communication to empower volunteers to promote participation and engagement to their classmates. Support class programming andevents.

• Design and execute annual Reunion fundraising strategies forselect milestone classes. In coordination with Leadership Annual Giving, identify volunteer leadership, recruit committee members,manage timelines and communications for Reunion gift committees toensure successful outcomes.

• Contribute to the development of class engagement and annual giving strategies aligned with institutional goals.
• Serve as the Class Engagement team lead on the College'stexting platform in order to drive participation and engagement across the division.
• Monitor progress toward class participation and Reunion fundraising benchmarks; prepare regular reports on outcomes.
  
  Utilize advancement databases and digital tools to track volunteeractivity, participation rates, and donor engagement.

• Serve as the Class Engagement team lead for Class Communicationtemplates.
• Stay informed about best practices in alumni engagement andapply innovative approaches to volunteer management and classfundraising.
• Other duties as assigned or necessary.

• Bachelor's degree required, with a strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of the College and the value of a liberal arts education.
• Two years of successful advancement, fundraising, or relatedtransferable experience preferred/required.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage effectively with a diverse range of constituents, colleagues,volunteers, and community members.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet goals and deadlines,and work independently.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire colleagues and motivate volunteers.
