Advanced Practice Hospital Medicine Nocturnist

We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our organization.

• We are seeking an experienced APP to work at Baystate Medical Center, our 716‑bed flagship hospital located in Springfield, MA, the region’s only Level 1 trauma center.
• Responsibilities include rounding, admitting, cross‑covering and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.
• APPs work closely with our physician hospitalists and APP educators to provide evidence‑based clinical care to a diverse patient population. Practice autonomously while benefiting from strong physician support.
• Dedicated APP leadership will support your ongoing professional development. Our competency‑based orientation will equip you for a successful career in hospital medicine. Opportunity to develop as an educator working with APP students and new graduates. Involvement in clinical research and QI opportunities is also available for those interested.
• 12‑hour shifts from 7 pm – 7 am, 3 on 4 off schedule, 1:3 rotational Saturdays.

Board certified ACNPs, AGACNPs, or PAs with at least 2 years of inpatient advanced practice experience.

Hospital Medicine AP: $126,000 – $159,600
. The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.

Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non‑exempt employees and based on assumed full‑time commitment for exempt employees.
