Job Title: RN – Operating Room

Rate:
Up to $2745.00 weekly

Location:
Worcester, MA

Day Shift (8H)
Call Rotation: 1 night every third weekend.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience

• 2 years  Operating Room experience required
• Must have scrub experience to get submitted.
• Must be able to circulate and scrub in the following specialty areas:
  Transplant, Liver and Kidney, Endo, vascular, Vascular emergencies, Neuro, Trauma, MVA, Gunshot and stabbings etc., Circulate hearts, General surgery, Pedi, and Micro.

Licenses/Certifications

• Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of Massachusetts.
• AHA BLS certification required.

• Monitoring Vital Signs:
  Regularly check and record vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation to ensure patient stability.
• Administering Medications:
  Provide prescribed medications and treatments as per doctor s orders, ensuring accurate dosing and administration.
• Emergency Response:
  Respond quickly to life-threatening situations, including administering medications and initiating life support measures.
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
  Work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and the patient s family to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress, which are essential for medical documentation and billing purposes.
• Patient Advocacy:
  Advocate for the patient s needs and rights, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
