Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part‑Time and Full‑Time Positions Available
Join our dynamic care team at Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Worcester!
Openings:- 40 hours on 11p‑7a
- 32 hours on 11p‑7a
- 24 hours on 3p‑11p
- 16 hours on 11p‑7a
- 8 hours on 11p‑7a
Up to a $5,000 Sign‑on Bonus Available!* $35 to $40 an hour, including shift differential. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the RN to residents and supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
- Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care.
- Follow physician’s orders, render, and/or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders.
- Transcribe physician’s orders promptly and accurately.
- Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness.
- Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.
- Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs.
- Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list.
- Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary.
- Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state or be in the process of obtaining one.

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care.
- Possesses leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non‑professional personnel.
- Possesses accurate and comprehensive assessment skills.
- Familiar with drug actions and interactions.
- Knowledge of restorative nursing rehabilitation policies and utilizes appropriately.
- Patient, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
