Registered Nurse (RN)
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care across family planning, abortion services, triage, and follow-up support. This role requires maintaining clinical excellence while adhering to PPLM protocols, nursing standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (including HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, Title X, CDC, DEA, and Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidelines).
The RN serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff, providing supervision and support while partnering with leadership and colleagues to ensure safe, coordinated care and a positive, inclusive work environment.
This is a part-time position based in our Worcester location.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Provide patient care across family planning, abortion services, recovery, and follow-up support.
- Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, perform IV care, and support clinical procedures.
- Manage triage, lab results, prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up care per established protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support after-hours patient needs.
- Educate and counsel patients in a clear, supportive, and nonjudgmental manner.
- Collaborate with care teams, support clinic flow, and assist with patient coordination and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR/BLS certification required BSN preferred Experience in sexual and reproductive health preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Commitment to inclusive, patient-centered care Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Ability to lift 30 lbs and remain active throughout the shift $35.60 - $35.60 an hour This position is part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
