Nurse Extern II - Med Surg

Job Summary

Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the best care for med‑surg patients in advanced facilities such as a primary stroke center and long‑term acute care unit at Saint Vincent Hospital.

• Participate in patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation.
• Perform patient care activities under the supervision of Registered Nursing staff.
• Report significant observations to a Registered Nurse.

Education:

• Graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited RN program and actively taking steps to obtain RN license.

Certifications:

• CPR.

Proof of full vaccination required; if exempt, must submit to regular testing per applicable law.
