Job Title: Admin Supervisor Acute Care (House Supervisor)
Location: Gardner, Massachusetts (MA)
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Shift: 32 Hours Weekly
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- AHA ACLS Certification
- Previous leadership or management experience
- 3 4 years of Acute Care nursing experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to critical events (Code Blue, Code Red, etc.)
- Provide leadership and support during emergencies
- Manage and adjust staffing levels based on patient needs
- Serve as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff
- Assist with conflict resolution among staff, patients, and physicians
- Support patient rights and advocate for patients and families
- Provide staff education and guidance
- Complete employee evaluations and performance reviews
- Maintain hospital operations during non-operating hours
- Support other departments to ensure quality patient care
