Non-Exempt - Hiring Range: $37.51 - $81.95
- Schedule:
Holidays – Every Third Holiday (Sunday–Saturday);
Weekends – Every Third Weekend;
Shift: 1 – Day Shift, 12 Hours;

- Utilizes the nursing process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
- Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
- Develops and coordinates individual plan of care, including discharge planning.
- Develops, implements, coordinates and documents education plan for patient/family/significant other.
- Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
- Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
- Complies with established departmental policies, procedures and objectives.
- Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed.
- Participates in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrates use of quality improvement in daily operations.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies such as the Joint Commission, DPH, etc., and develops and maintains procedures necessary to meet regulatory requirements.
- Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
- Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates standards of respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining a professional, tolerant, civil and accepting environment for all employees, patients and visitors.
- Maintains open lines of communication with program leadership, other departments, staff, physicians, resident staff and support personnel.
- Maintains regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
- Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.
- License/Certification/Education –
Required:
Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration;
Current unrestricted driver’s license; BLS (unless advanced certification such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP is current). - Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Experience/Skills –
Required:
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience;
Thorough knowledge of the discipline of nursing. - Preferred Experience: Home‑care or telehealth experience;
Phlebotomy, IV insertion, and telemetry experience. - Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide proficiency in the responsibilities may be considered.
Work is considered heavy. Position requires travel from the operations center to local hospitals and patient residences, with primary work indoors in an alternative patient care environment.
