Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedics - $34-71 per hour

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Orthopedics for a nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Job Overview

Duration:
Ongoing. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.

Employment Type:

Staff. Up to $25,000 sign‑on bonus based on eligibility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical patient care.
  • Assess, plan, and implement direct care for assigned patients on a per‑shift basis and at the unit level.
  • Supervise staff to whom care is delegated.
  • Support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high‑quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management related to patient care.
  • Deliver high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients.
  • Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
  • Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient at an optimum level of care.
  • Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
  • Perform and fulfill all Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility during emergencies and/or disasters.
  • Know the hospital’s emergency codes, including purpose and appropriate action for each, and adhere to hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.
  • Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Required
  • Education:

    Graduate from a state‑approved or accredited nursing school.
  • Certification:
    Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law or regulation in the state of practice or in accordance with policy.
  • CPR certification.

  • Education:

    Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’s).
