• Hiring Range: $52.50 - $57.50
• Schedule Details: Holidays – One Major Summer Holiday, One Major Winter Holiday;
  Weekends – One full weekend per month

• Utilizes the Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to developmental age.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
• Documents patient care according to standard procedure.
• Develops, implements and documents education plans for patient/family/significant other.
• Ensures quality and continuity of care through collaboration with other health care providers.
• Administers medications, performs treatments, therapies and operates equipment according to policy; assists physician with treatment, procedures and special tests as required.
• Participates in and supports nursing governance activities.
• Assumes responsibility for professional growth; assists in education and development of staff.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrates quality improvement in daily operations.

• Complies with established departmental policies, procedures and objectives.
• Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required.
• Demonstrates use of quality improvement in daily operations.
• Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
• Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates standards of respect, and contributes to a professional, tolerant, civil and accepting environment.
• Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
• Performs other similar and related duties as required.

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS required for every RN unless ACLS is current, plus unit-specific certifications and competencies.
• BSN highly preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of nursing.
• Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months or first scheduled course in select areas.
• PALS within 6 months or first scheduled course in select areas.
• NRP Advanced Provider within 6 months or first scheduled course in select areas.

Work is considered medium. Position requires indoor patient care environment.
