Job Title

Job OverviewTenet Massachusetts is seeking an RN to provide direct clinical patient care in the ICU. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and at the unit level. The RN will supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated and support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, as well as competency of clinical staff and resource management related to patient care.

Up to $20,000 (based on eligibility)
- Provide high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients.
- Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
- Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.
- Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
- Perform and fulfill all Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
- Know the Hospital’s emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adhere to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Education:
Graduation from a state approved nursing school or an accredited nursing program. - Certification:
Current license, certification, or registration to practice as required by law or regulation in the state of practice. - CPR certification.
