Job Shift: Overnights
Compensation$10,000 sign-on bonus + 100% company-paid medical up to family coverage OR Opt-out of medical insurance for additional compensation of up to $10,000 annually for FT employees.
Compensation ranges, including differentials (if applicable) by shift:
- Days to Evenings: $40.00-$51.00/hr
- Evenings to Nights: $43.00-$52.00/hr
- Weekend Days to Evenings: $44.00-$54.00/hr
- Weekend Evenings to Overnights: $46.00-$54.00/hr
This is a full-time/part-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $40.00 - $48.00 hourly. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level.
Your Work Matters – How will you make a difference?- Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
- Document and reassess any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy.
- Verify the accuracy of patient records.
- Intervention is based on knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures, as well as the plan of care.
- Provide education to patients and families based on their identified needs and limitations, such as communication, interpersonal and social skills as well as basic principles of physical health.
- Document both the nursing interventions on the treatment plan and the patient's response to the intervention.
- Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies.
- Act as the patient's advocate and assure that patient rights are upheld.
- Education:
Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Licensure:
Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing. - Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred. - Additional Skill Requirements:
Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
