American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Worcester, MA, requiring an active MA RN license and a minimum of 1.5 years of ED experience.

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Worcester, MA
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, with a base start time of 7:00 PM
• Shift start time may flex up to four hours earlier or later based on urgent department staffing needs (rare occurrence)
• Telemetry monitoring is a component of the role
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• 13-week contract

• Active, permanent MA RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1.5 years of ED nursing experience
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allows only one attempt, and a failed exam results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided prior to orientation to help candidates prepare for both exams
• Nurses with any prior disciplinary actions on their RN license will not be considered for this position
