Registered Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics (Labor & Delivery)

Worcester, Massachusetts

36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts)

Staff

• Provide direct clinical patient care in Labor & Delivery.
• Assess, plan, and implement clinical care for assigned patients on a per‑shift basis.
• Coordinate unit‑level patient care and integrate the nursing process.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care responsibilities.
• Ensure high‑quality, safe, and cost‑effective nursing care in accordance with safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control standards.
• Plan and coordinate patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Perform all HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) responsibilities and assignments during emergencies or disasters.
• Know and respond to the Hospital’s emergency codes and follow the related policies.
• Perform related duties as required by the facility.

• Graduated from a state‑approved or accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice nursing in the state.
• Certifications required: CPR.

• Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
