RN Director – Operating Room

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced and dynamic RN Director – Operating Room to lead perioperative services for Tenet Healthcare in Worcester, Massachusetts. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing Operating Room (OR) operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, staff development, and physician collaboration within a fast-paced hospital environment.

The Director will work closely with surgeons, nursing leadership, and executive teams to optimize surgical workflows, improve patient outcomes, and support strategic growth initiatives. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $126,000 to $197,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to lead a critical service line within a respected healthcare organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting at the Manager or Director level.
  • Previous Operating Room (OR) experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
  • Current licensure, certification, or registration as required by state regulations and organizational policy.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or master's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership, operational management, and physician relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading perioperative teams in a complex acute care environment.
