We are seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) for outpatient and emergency services. Reporting to the Supervising Psychiatrist, this clinician will evaluate and treat children and/or adults, conduct crisis assessments, collaborate with families and care teams, and consult with other BHN programs as needed.

- Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including clinical formulations and recommendations grounded in sound clinical principles and judgment.
- Evaluate individuals for psychopharmacologic treatment and prescribe medications in accordance with current standards of care.
- Conduct comprehensive risk and crisis evaluations and take appropriate action to protect individuals and others.
- Engage appropriate family members, residential providers, and collateral contacts in treatment planning and care coordination.
- Provide collateral consultation to clinical staff and psychiatric consultation to other BHN programs as needed.
- Complete timely, high-quality clinical documentation and bill for services in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Discuss clinical questions and complex cases with the Supervising Psychiatrist and promptly elevate urgent matters.
- Provide high-quality care to challenging and diverse populations while demonstrating teamwork, ongoing learning, technology proficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Master's Degree or higher in mental health nursing from an accredited college or university recognized by the National League for Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice at the highest level of independent nursing practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current certification and evidence of prescribing authorization from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
- Current Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certificate.
- Current ANCC certification with APRN-BC designation in an applicable adult, family, or child and adolescent psychiatric-mental health nursing specialty.
- Sound clinical judgment and the willingness and ability to treat challenging and diverse child and/or adult populations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, consultation, collaboration, interpersonal, and crisis-response skills.
- Proficiency with clinical and agency technology, along with strong organization, reliability, teamwork, and commitment to ongoing learning.

Salary Range: $129,688- $159,794
