LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

  • Participation in the nursing process by sharing in assessment of patients, planning of patient care, implementing the patient care plan, and evaluating patient care.
  • Accepting doctor’s orders, transcribing doctor’s orders and making rounds with physicians.
  • Ordering medications according to facility procedure, doing narcotic count according to regulation, auditing physician orders and medications as assigned.
  • Administering medications and treatments as ordered.

Qualifications:

  • EDUCATION:

    Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • TRAINING AND

    EXPERIENCE:

    Will receive in-service training in special areas.
