About This Role

The Adult Oncology Order Set Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing the MGHCI content for adult oncology research and standard of care Beacon protocols. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in oncology research or infusion nursing.

• Coordinate Beacon Protocols (PRLs) throughout their life-cycle.
• Utilize content from clinical trial documents, NCCN guidelines, and local subject matter experts to create, update, and maintain protocols.
• Support the validation process of Beacon Protocols (PRLs).
• Assist with clinical trial and standard of care protocol review, initiation, closure processes, and education.
• Participate in the training of new members of the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) team.
• Work closely with Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, Clinical Trial Departments, and the EPIC/Beacon team.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.

• Education
  :
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience
  :
  • 5+ years in oncology research or infusion nursing
• Licenses & Certifications

  • Current RN License in Massachusetts required
