What You Will Do:

  • Deliver direct patient care using sound clinical decision-making and critical thinking, while supervising nursing staff who also provide direct care.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with individuals and families, respecting their rights, values, and belief systems.
  • Demonstrate awareness of cultural, ethnic, and spiritual factors affecting care outcomes.
  • Provide leadership to coordinate and facilitate quality individual care, resolving daily operational issues within the unit.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, DPH, infection control) under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Medical Director.
  • Collaborate with Program Leadership on procedures to achieve quality and cost outcomes, including appropriate staffing mix.
  • Participate in staff selection, performance management, and resolution of personnel issues.
  • Partner with SUD and Medical leadership to identify educational needs and support development of staff training programs.

Who You Are:

  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred (3–5 years of experience may substitute).
  • Current LPN license through the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and CARF standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
