American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring an active MA RN license and experience in a maternity float pool covering both L&D and PP units.
Details- Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit with assignment to a maternity float pool
- Required to work both Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:45 to 7:15)
- 36 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday required
- Active MA RN license required (conditional/temp license accepted initially, must apply within 48 hours of offer)
- 3 years of L&D experience strongly preferred, will consider 1-2+ years with travel experience
- Intermediate or above AWHONN certification required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Two references required for consideration, one of which must be a Nurse Manager or higher
- Must pass two pass/fail exams at orientation (medication exam and telemetry exam), each with one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation
- Study materials provided during compliance process and FDIs to help prepare for exams
- Must pass an EKG competency test
- Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license will not be considered
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Must reside within a 200-mile radius of the facility
