Oval Skate Guard

*
* POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Conducts routine property walks
* Interact with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees
* Lay out the rubber matting and benches to prepare the rink area for the public
* Clear ice rink of snow/sleet as well as surrounding walkways and bench areas
* Skate Guards will be responsible for the safety of the skaters while on the Oval
* Skate Guards will be responsible for checking tickets at the gate and reminding patrons to return rented skates
*
* SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

** This position has no supervisory responsibilities
** QUALIFICATIONS

** PHYSICAL DEMANDS &

WORKING CONDITIONS:

** This position will require a large amount of walking, climbing, stooping and possible heavy lifting.  This position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, as well as work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
** EDUCATION AND/OR

EXPERIENCE:

*** High School Degree and/or GED
* One year of customer service experience desired
* First Aid response training and/or experience desired
*
* SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

*** Ability to ice skate
* Ability to work flexible hours on weekdays, weekends, school vacations and holidays
* Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
* Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
* Must be at least 18 years old
** HOURLY RATE**: $16.80 - $17.85
