This is a seasonal, full time position with an estimated duration of March through September.
The Vegetation Management Technician will provide our government, commercial, utility and not-for-profit clients with the services and solutions needed to efficiently and effectively manage unwanted, nuisance, and/or invasive vegetation. Travel projects are typically located in Massachusetts, but possible travel throughout the Northeast United States. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operating Commercial Mowers
- Operating String Trimmers
- Identifying native and invasive vegetation
- Working independently and with attention to detail.
An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty consistently and satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Experience operating commercial mowers and string trimmers
- Current Driver’s License and Driving Record in good standing.
- Experience in the following fields:
Landscaping, Plant Health Care - Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator's License and/or additional states licenses may be eligible for increased starting rates.
