The QC Technician / Manufacturing Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards of incoming materials and finished products. This position is responsible for inspecting components, maintaining detailed quality records, supporting & maintaining ISO compliance, and assisting with general manufacturing operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials/products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Perform in-process inspections based on manufacturing drawings, procedures, and MRP system specifications
- Complete and maintain all quality documentation, including inspection forms, in-process sheets, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and Certificates of Conformance
- Maintain calibration records and ensure all measuring equipment is within spec
- Input and manage data across quality logs, including test logs, NCR logs, and RMA logs
- Own the process of maintaining ISO 9001 certification by ensuring procedural adherence, facilitating audits, and driving corrective actions as needed.
- Own the end-to-end process for MRB meetings, including scheduling, documentation, follow-ups, and driving resolution of non-conformances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality, services, and processes
- Assist manufacturing operations when needed, ensuring smooth production flow
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Perform other duties as required
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and compliance
- Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments
- Basic math and computer skills (Excel, Word, and MRP/ERP systems)
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and technical documents
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and support company goals - Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, ensuring clear, professional, and timely communication.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
