Industry: Fine Chemicals / Pharmaceutical R&D
Function: Research & Development | Chemical Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize synthetic routes for fine chemicals, APIs, and agrochemical intermediates.
- Independently conduct experiments involving metal catalysis and chiral synthesis to resolve technical challenges.
- Manage the technology transfer from lab-scale (R&D) to pilot-scale production, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Utilize analytical techniques (
NMR, LC-MS
) for structural characterization and purity analysis. - Maintain accurate lab notebooks and draft technical reports and patent disclosures.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a closely related field .
- Strong hands-on experience in multi-step organic synthesis.
- Proficiency in reading scientific literature in English.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
