Research Scientist
Post-doctoral Associate, Humphries lab, Division of Innate Immunity, UMass Chan medical school
Two postdoctoral research positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Fiachra Humphries, part of the newly established Division of Innate Immunity in the Department of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA.
We invite applications from highly motivated doctoral-level scientists interested in immunometabolism, virology and neuroscience. The Humphries Lab is dedicated to elucidating the cellular and molecular mechanisms that underpin innate immune responses with a focus on immunometabolism and cell death, exploring how dysregulation of these pathways contributes to diseases and disorders and developing novel approaches to resolve inflammation and treat human diseases.
Our research is supported by 3 NIH awards R01AI
