STORE MANAGER NEEDED AT RIVER BEND RV RESORT

River Bend RV Resort is seeking an experienced store manager to join our amazing seasonal management team. This is a full-time seasonal position, approximately March - October. In this role, you are the welcoming face every guest sees when they visit our store. Your mission will be to ensure the store is always stocked and clean and provide outstanding customer service to every guest.

You play a vital role in creating the fun and helpful store atmosphere that shows that everyone at River Bend cares for our members, guests, and each other! This position is responsible for all aspects of operating a successful campground store, including team management, guest satisfaction, merchandising, and cash handling.

• Minimum 5 years of retail and/or customer service experience
• 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines
• Demonstrate effective leadership skills, including support and delegation skills
• Possess administrative skills: knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, word processing programs, and general office equipment
• Willingness to be open, to learn, and take on new responsibilities
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be able to lift 30lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements
• Be available to work holidays and weekends

• Lead, motivate, and develop team members
• Recruit, interview, hire, assess, develop, and retain high‑performing team members
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Support sales goals and store performance
• Manage scheduling and daily operations
• Create a positive, high‑performing team culture
• Attend weekly managers’ meetings
• Daily POS closeout and reconcile sales reports with receipts
• Order and manage inventory
• Manage rental equipment
• Have, or the ability to get, a Certified Food Safety Manager Certificate
• Have, or the ability to get the Wisconsin Responsible Beverage Server Training Certificate (we sell beer and cigarettes in the store)
