Position: Assistant Night Manager Full Time

Job Summary

The Assistant Night Manager works closely with the Assistant Club Manager of Merchandise to ensure merchandise is properly stocked and available for sale. You will maintain presentation standards, deliver a positive member experience, and oversee the nightly execution of department tasks. Although you do not have direct supervisory responsibilities, you will direct and coach the overnight team, ensuring Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) standards are met.

You may also serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) for the club as needed.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  • Lead overnight merchandising execution, collaborating with the Assistant Club Manager of Merchandising.
  • Support execution of merchandising tasks, including staffing, training, and task coordination for forklift operators.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation and availability at the start of business.
  • Execute company directives with precision, ensuring high standards across the sales floor.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance sales by recommending improvements based on store conditions and member feedback.
  • Maintain building and equipment readiness, overseeing safe operation of overnight equipment.
  • Model and enforce safe equipment usage, operating forklifts safely and performing inspections.
  • Drive safety and sanitation compliance, enforcing steel and pallet safety checks and sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure proper inventory controls, overseeing Hot List completion and pallet tag placement.
  • Promote audit readiness and compliance by completing required documentation and safety processes.
  • Utilize reporting tools (Hot List, NAFS, price sign reports, dashboards) to guide team focus and improve efficiency.
