Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $24.50 - $26.50 per hour. The full pay range is $24.50 - $41.65 per hour. Pay is based on labor markets and may also consider education, work experience, and certifications.

The Closing Team Leader supports the team in closing routine, guest service, store operations, safety, and sales. This role requires leading and coaching team members, ensuring store readiness for the next day, and driving storewide sales and profitability.

• Demonstrate inclusivity and an equitable guest experience.

• Understand the role in sales growth and store profitability.
• Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning.
• Problem‑solve and prioritize across multiple business areas to execute store strategies.
• Assist leaders through communication and collaboration to influence sales performance and workload deliverables.
• Support store operations by ensuring departments are zoned, in‑stock, signed, and labeled, setting the store up for success the next day.
• Use business planning tools to share priorities and updates with store leadership.
• Take action to achieve performance goals.
• Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest‑centric team.
• Support team onboarding and learning and help close skill gaps through development, coaching, and interactions.
• Lead and demonstrate a safety culture, including training and compliance with safe and secure procedures.
• Model a welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging with them warmly.
• Support merchandise protection strategies and physical security processes.
• Support guest services such as order pick‑up, drive‑up orders, and returns while maintaining compliance.
• Perform all other duties as needed based on business needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including up to 44 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other conditions.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
