Merchandiser- Sales -Nashua, MA

Our team is currently looking for a Full-Time Merchandiser to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. The Merchandiser’s main job function is to assist with sales and create brand awareness. A sales merchandiser should have knowledge of our products as they relate to the deli.

• Full‑Time Hourly Position – $18.00- $21.00 based on experience
• Weekly payroll via Direct Deposit
• Ability to earn 5+ hours per week of overtime

• Safely operate a deli slicer
• Set up deli cases and appropriately rotate deli product
• Understand and execute schematics/planograms
• Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson Point of Sale (POS)
• Work as a self‑starter, both independently and in a team environment
• Manage time effectively and productively
• Complete all reports as necessary including store surveys
• Provide consistent coverage to all stores within assigned territory based on store ranking
• Make regular store visits to document concerns/problems (e.g., shortages, equipment problems, ordering issues, etc.) and address them in a timely manner
• Build and maintain customer relationships by displaying high‑level customer service techniques to deli managers, employees, and store customers
• Possess the knowledge and ability to both create and market Dietz & Watson programs
• Train all new store deli hires on the merits of Dietz & Watson and refresh training when needed
• Communicate any necessary information to the Merchandiser Manager (e.g., grand openings, store closures, etc.)
• Utilize monthly sales reports to achieve 100% distribution
• Explore opportunities for sales growth with the Merchandiser Manager
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Perform special projects outside of assigned territory
• Show flexibility and ability to travel (including flying) as needed, up to 30% of the time
• Read and write English
• Use computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Demonstrate communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills
• Exercise independent decision‑making skills regularly
• Be available to work weekends on occasion
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1‑2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred; previous deli experience is a plus
• Own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license
• Pass the company‑issued Serv Safe Manager exam
