In this role, you’ll be part of the Waste Network Optimisation Performance team, focusing on analysing network performance data to provide insight that shapes decision‑making. You’ll help build a clear understanding of how our network is operating, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to drive targeted improvements across our assets.
You’ll work closely with Network Operability Specialists, delivering robust analysis to support scheme development, operational decisions and investment planning. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to key operational activities, including pressure monitoring and contingency planning.
Key accountabilities- Analyse network and asset performance data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
- Interpret pressure monitoring data and support the ongoing effectiveness of the monitoring programme
- Provide data‑driven insight to support scheme development, operational decisions and investment planning
- Produce clear summary packs and translate complex data into actionable business insight
- Support risk prioritisation, contingency planning and the delivery of performance and customer outcomes
You’ll have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and turn findings into clear, actionable insight. Comfortable working with performance, asset or operational data, you’ll bring a proactive and inquisitive approach, spotting trends, risks and opportunities to drive improvement.
You’ll be a confident communicator, able to present data clearly and influence decisions through evidence‑based recommendations. With strong organisational skills, you’ll manage multiple work streams effectively, balancing analysis, reporting and light project support. An understanding of operational or asset‑based environments would be advantageous, helping you link data insights to real‑world outcomes.
You’ll hold a full UK driving licence.
