Role Description

The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater Boston, responsible for supporting daily store operations and leadership. This role helps oversee staff scheduling, task delegation, and performance, ensuring that customer service, merchandising, and store presentation standards are consistently met. The Assistant Manager assists with training team members, monitoring sales KPIs, and implementing promotional and visual merchandising strategies. Daily responsibilities include partnering with the Store Manager on inventory control, loss prevention, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and team members.

The role also contributes to a positive workplace culture by modeling company values and providing clear, constructive communication to the team.

Qualifications
  • Experience in retail or customer-facing roles, with strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience, including coaching, delegating tasks, and supporting team development.
  • Operational skills in areas such as inventory management, cash handling, loss prevention, and basic store administration.
  • Ability to interpret and act on sales metrics, KPIs, and merchandising standards to drive store performance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working on-site, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and standing for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, retail management, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Interest in casual apparel, footwear, and accessories, and alignment with an active, social lifestyle brand culture.
