The Sales Director atThe Convenience App, LLCwill lead frontline sales efforts focused on onboarding convenience stores and gas stations onto our digital ordering platform. This is ahands-on, execution-driven rolesuited for someone who thrives in a startup environment and is motivated bygrowth, commissions, and building something from the ground up.
This position offers amodest base salary with astrong commission structure, making it ideal for a driven sales professional who wants toearn based on performance, not just title. The role requires persistence, relationship-building, and a willingness to be in the field, talk to store owners, and close deals.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect, pitch, and onboard convenience stores and gas stations onto The Convenience App platform
- Own the full sales cycle
: lead generation, outreach, demos, negotiations, closing, and onboarding coordination - Conduct in-person and virtual sales meetings with store owners and decision-makers
- Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline using CRM tools and internal tracking systems
- Meet and exceed monthly onboarding and revenue targets through disciplined execution
- Work closely with leadership to refine sales scripts, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approach
- Gather market feedback from store owners and relay insights to product and operations teams
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, store visits, and partner meetings
- Assist in developing scalable sales processes as the company grows
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong motivation to work hard, hustle, and earn through commissions
- Experience in B2B sales, field sales, retail sales, or SaaS sales (startup experience a plus)
- Comfortable with cold outreach
, objections, and relationship-driven selling - Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organized, goal-oriented, and disciplined in pipeline management
- Willingness to travel locally/regionally as required (Will be compensated)
- Comfortable working in an
early-stage startup
with evolving processes - Not seeking a high fixed salary, but motivated by performance-based upside
- Base Salary:$46,800 – $52,000 per year (Negotiable)
- Commission:Performance-based commission on store onboardings and revenue ($250 per store)
- Schedule:Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Growth Opportunity:Strong potential for role expansion and compensation growth as the company scales
