Job Summary
As an Account Executive, you will drive new business by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities within your territory and vertical. You will adopt a consultative sales approach to understand complex technology solutions and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution. Your work will directly contribute to revenue growth, client acquisition, and market penetration.
Job Responsibilities- Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline through outbound prospecting, referral generation, networking, and lead follow‑up.
- Conduct discovery calls and meetings to uncover business challenges, technical requirements, and stakeholder priorities.
- Qualify prospects using criteria such as budget, authority, need, and timing.
- Develop and present proposals, including ROI models and solution overviews, aligned with client objectives and service offerings.
- Partner with Client Experience and internal teams to scope and price tailored technology solutions.
- Own the sales process from initial contact through close, ensuring consistent follow‑up and clear next steps.
- Accurately track all prospecting, opportunity, and sales activity in Connect Wise or other CRM platforms.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas and KPIs related to pipeline growth, conversion rates, and client acquisition.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales reviews to continuously improve sales effectiveness and stay current on product knowledge.
- Maintain professional expertise by studying industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in MSP, SaaS, or IT services sector.
