Job Description
- Provide exceptional customer service and financial education, achieving lending, servicing, transactional banking and insurance sales targets through marketing and selling Old Mutual products.
- Individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
- Meet monthly sales targets for lending, transactional banking, and insurance.
- Serve existing Old Mutual policies: facilitate claims, address customer complaints and queries to meet Net Promoter Score requirements.
- Check loan application documentation for accuracy, authenticity, compliance with Policy and Procedures, and completeness.
- Accurately capture all client information on Summit as per loan application and supporting documentation.
- Suspend or reject loan applications to be re-quoted as required.
- Report suspicious or fraudulent loan application documents to the Branch Manager.
- Explain the Loan Application Process to clients.
- Explain terms and conditions of Old Mutual Finance products to clients.
- Issue copy of contract/agreement to client.
- Print loan agreement for client’s signature.
- Correct altered loan application information sent for rework and reprint for client’s signature.
- Follow up on clients with 1st and 2nd missed instalments.
- Meet collections and arrears targets for lending products.
- Educate clients on responsible use of credit and effective money management.
- Establish new business pipeline through internal and external marketing, lead generation and cross‑sell to customers to ensure retention and acquisition of new clients.
- Adhere to internal regulatory and legislative governances to ensure quality business and mitigate risk.
- Facilitate intra‑branch referrals by building mutually beneficial relationships with other business units.
- Provide excellent face‑to‑face and telephonic service to customers.
- Project/present the professional image of Old Mutual Finance by adhering to dress code, housekeeping, professional behavior and code of conduct.
- Build sustainable relationships that enhance the brand.
- Deliver on daily production standards and adhere to service and quality standards.
- Process lending products and verify required information.
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent NQF level 4.
- Minimum of 1 year sales or service experience, preferably in Retail, Banking & Financial Industries.
