Sales Associate
The Sales Associate supports revenue generation through group sales and advertising by engaging with patrons, community groups, and business prospects. This role manages day-to-day sales activity, executes outreach and calling campaigns, and supports event and advertising sales efforts in partnership with the Senior Sales Manager.
The Sales Associate provides strong customer service, maintains accurate data and CRM records, and assists with ticket sales, call campaigns, and event coverage as needed. They contribute to revenue goals while ensuring effective execution of sales initiatives and serving as a positive, professional presence for patrons and team members.

Sales & Revenue Generation
Execute outbound sales efforts for group tickets and advertising opportunities through phone, email, and in-person outreach.Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to overall team revenue targets.Identify, develop, and maintain a pipeline of group sales prospects and advertising clients.Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Build and maintain ongoing relationships with patrons, community groups, and business contacts.Partner with the Senior Sales Manager to execute outreach and relationship management strategies.Communicate upcoming performances, on-sales, and promotional offers to targeted audiences.Sales Operations & CRM Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and next steps in the CRM system (Audience View).Support the development and organization of prospect and customer databases.Participate in calling campaigns and targeted outreach initiatives.Event Sales Support
Support event and advertising sales efforts, including material distribution and on-site engagement as needed.Assist with ticket sales, phones, and front-line coverage during high-demand periods.Represent the organization professionally at events and patron-facing activities.Marketing
Team CollaborationProvide limited support for marketing and communications activities as needed.Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support sales and organizational goals.Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned.Always adhere to the organization's values and in all interactions with staff, volunteers and members of the public.Fully comply with the organization's rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of all spaces.Skills and Specifications
The employee must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to perform the above responsibilities and essential functions to a high level of competency, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work onsite in Worcester, MA, with occasional evening or weekend availability based on organizational needs.Solid understanding of sales and revenue-generating practices.Ability to read, listen and communicate in English proficiently, both verbally and in writing.Knowledge or ability to learn Audience View software to manage customers' accounts.Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.Ability to manage and coordinate numerous projects and tasks simultaneously in a busy, high-pressure environment.Ability to effectively work with internal and external customers with professionalism, patience, courtesy, and tact.Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. continuously.
- Ability to see details at close range.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of sales, partnerships, or business development experience.
