We are on the hunt for a talented Senior Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth across the broader Americas region. In this dynamic role, you will formulate and execute the regional sales strategy while leading a dedicated team of sales professionals towards achieving remarkable commercial success.
Your responsibilities will encompass the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to closing strategic opportunities and nurturing key accounts. You will cultivate and develop a team of account managers and inside sales professionals while also engaging directly with major customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute innovative regional sales strategies.
- Drive business development initiatives across priority markets.
- Manage forecasting and assess pipeline performance regularly.
- Strengthen and maintain executive relationships with strategic customers.
- Continuously monitor market trends and assess the competitive landscape.
- Provide valuable insights to support product positioning and drive future growth.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of proven sales leadership experience, particularly in managing senior-level sales or account management teams.
- A track record of successfully developing new business and expanding relationships with strategic customers.
- Experience selling industrial automation products, sensors, or measurement technologies, with preferred industries including robotics, packaging, medical devices, machine builders, construction, or agriculture.
- Strong financial acumen in strategy, revenue forecasting, budgeting, and performance metrics.
- A disciplined approach to managing sales pipelines and CRM reporting.
- A demonstrated ability to negotiate complex agreements and multi-year contracts with large global customers.
- Outstanding leadership skills with experience coaching and developing high-performance sales teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- A strong organizational ability to manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced sales environment.
