Business Development/Relationship Management Professional

We are looking to hire a business development/relationship management professional in the Worcester/Bristol Counties in MA and Providence County in RI, for our growing sales department. This is a fantastic opportunity in a recession and pandemic-resistant industry, with opportunities for un‑capped commission and professional growth to go along with a base salary, bonus structure and benefits.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop pipeline of new business through prospecting. Requires thorough knowledge of marketplace, service offerings, and competition.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with clients, including Property Managers, Business Owners, Healthcare, Hospitality, Agents, Brokers, Insurance Adjusters, Maintenance teams, etc.
  • Identify targets: existing relationships and new targets for Disaster Response; prospect in the field between 10am and 4pm Mon‑Friday.
  • Conduct education and training programs to grow our sales with Commercial and Residential opportunities. Examples include CE, Lunch and Learns, and Co‑Marketing Events for Property Managers, Business Owners, Healthcare Facilities, Agents, Brokers, Insurance Companies, etc.
  • Execute tactics to support overall company strategies/goals by identifying potential sales opportunities in the insurance/restoration industry.
  • Work in tandem with Sales Consultant to drive profitable revenue growth.
  • Participate in Insurance Industry Events at least 2 times per month.
  • Join associations within the industry that generate leads.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage new and existing clients/accounts and maintain records of all marketing activities daily.
  • Attend training courses and continuous learning opportunities to fine‑tune craft.
  • When applicable, represent Disaster Response at trade shows/golf outings and similar events to create business opportunities; drive engaging displays and excitement around brand.
  • Qualifications:

    • 3+ years outside sales experience required, within restoration industry ideal, but not necessary.
    • Must attend networking functions 2–4 evenings a month.
    • Moderate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
    • Experience entering and tracking sales data into CRM system ideal.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Outgoing, driven, team‑oriented attitude required.
