ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager – Product & Services to join a leading biotech company based in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to be part of a fast‑growing organisation at the forefront of immuno‑oncology, animal model gene engineering, and preclinical pharmacology. The role offers a unique chance to combine scientific expertise with business development, helping to expand the company's market presence and drive revenue growth.

In this position, you will be instrumental in exploring new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and supporting branding initiatives within the marketplace. Working closely with the marketing team and attending industry conferences, you will play a vital role in positioning our client as a leader in cutting‑edge biopharmaceutical science.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To understand and communicate the scientific and business aspects of the company's product and service offerings to prospective clients.
  • Actively reach out to potential customers, explore new business opportunities, manage negotiations and secure contracts.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and relevant industry events to promote the company's capabilities and expand network.
  • Support the marketing team in branding and building awareness in the marketplace.
  • Develop strategic relationships to maximise sales and company growth.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • A Degree or higher level in the bioscience field (e.g., molecular biology, biotechnology, pharmacology).
  • Proven track record of revenue generation and client relationship management within the biotech or biopharma sectors.
  • Strong interest in learning advances in biopharmaceutical science and business, coupled with excellent communication skills and willingness to travel.
