About this Role
The Account Executive is a field sales role responsible for client retention and growth. Account Executives build trust‑based relationships with C‑Level Executives and their teams, understand client priorities and ensure clients receive value from the Gartner relationship while identifying opportunities for additional product offerings. The role covers a territory of Large Enterprise clients, including End‑User clients with over $1billion in annual revenue and Tech Vendor clients with over $500million in annual revenue.
WhatYou Will Do
- Drive value delivery with current Gartner clients to maximize the value they receive.
- Identify, cultivate, qualify, and close client growth opportunities through cross‑sell and upsell.
- Build a pipeline of high‑quality opportunities and meet sales metrics and KPI’s.
- Take quota responsibility for your assigned territory.
- Manage complex, high‑revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments.
- Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- 5–8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within complex, intangible sales environments.
- Experience selling to and influencing C‑Level Executives.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven ability to own, manage, and forecast a complex sales process.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
