Position: Intern - Ticket Sales & Operations Fall 2026

The Worcester Railers HC of the ECHL is looking for a Ticket Sales Intern for an UNPAID/CREDIT ONLY role in Fall of the 2026 Academic Year starting in September and ending in December.
Candidates must be current college students
and must be able to dedicate 10 to 15 hours per week to the internship. Strong verbal skills are essential, as is the ability to work well in a dynamic, small-office environment. The successful candidate should be dependable, able to handle multiple tasks, and work long hours (evenings, weekends & holidays included).

Internship opportunities may include assisting with other departments in the organization such as:
Marketing, Business Operations, Corporate Partnerships, Public/Community Relations, and Digital Media for the club.

Ticket Sales Description
  • Interns will be required to attend all Railers HC events as requested (Including 90 % of our Home Games)
  • Assist staff with all other game day related activities as requested.
  • Interns will report to the Manager of Ticket Sales.
  • Interns will also work select office hours during the week and will gain experience in sales calls, CRM management, ticket operations, and more.
Desired Qualifications
  • Pursuit of Sport Management, Marketing, and/or business degree preferred.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of projects.
  • Basic understanding of making a sale.
  • Basic knowledge of ice hockey encouraged but not required.
Requirements
  • Must receive college credit.
  • Available to work a minimum of 10+ hours per week, including nights and weekends.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live in the Worcester or surrounding areas.
  • Must be able to receive credit towards major via class requirement or hours.
