Neuroscience Account Manager; Psychiatry; Worcester, MA

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
• Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain up-to-date product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) in territory.
• Communicate persuasively using advanced selling and negotiation skills with target audiences.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Complete monitoring and reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers/customer facilities/state/local governments.
• Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

• BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (or consider “Associate” if not met).
• Atypical anti-psychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management preferred.
• Reimbursement experience preferred.
• Existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.

• Ability to navigate complex markets; strong organization and multitasking.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, computer proficient.
• Ability to travel (including overnights) and occasional off-hours meetings; must reside within territory geography.
• May occasionally lift/move up to 15 pounds.
