Aboutthe Role
Intelli Source is seeking an experienced Asset Protection (AP) / Safety Coordinator to support facility security, employee health and safety, regulatory compliance, training, auditing, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced distribution or fulfillment environment.
This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of Asset Protection and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs while partnering with site leadership, operations, associates, contractors, and external emergency response resources. The AP / Safety Coordinator will help identify and reduce operational risk, maintain regulatory and company compliance, support incident response, and promote a safe and secure workplace.
Contract Duration:
Immediate start through an estimated date on or around December 31, 2026 with final dates based on business demands.
- Support the implementation and execution of facility Asset Protection policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines.
- Partner with facility security personnel and operational leadership to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Monitor and support facility access control processes, systems, and equipment.
- Assist with identifying, documenting, and escalating potential security risks, policy violations, loss-prevention concerns, or suspicious activity.
- Support investigations and incident reviews within assigned scope of responsibility.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and records related to Asset Protection and facility security activities.
- Assist with emergency response coordination and summon emergency services when necessary.
- Support compliance with applicable OSHA requirements, company safety standards, environmental health and safety requirements, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine facility safety inspections, observations, and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe behaviors, and compliance gaps.
- Conduct daily building audits and other required safety or operational compliance inspections.
- Communicate employee health and safety risks to facility and operational leadership.
- Assist leadership with corrective actions related to identified safety concerns.
- Support emergency preparedness programs, including evacuation procedures and emergency response plans.
- Maintain current directories and contact information for emergency response personnel and resources.
- Participate in incident investigations, root-cause reviews, and corrective-action follow-up.
- Support programs designed to reduce workplace injuries, incidents, near misses, and operational risk.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled safety, compliance, facility, and food-safety audits, as applicable to the operation.
- Document audit findings and prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports.
- Track identified corrective actions and support follow-up to ensure issues are appropriately addressed.
- Maintain required records, logs, inspection documentation, and compliance materials.
- Review trends across inspections, incidents, observations, and audit findings to identify areas requiring additional attention.
- Escalate significant or recurring compliance concerns to appropriate leadership.
- Build effective working relationships with operations leaders, employees, Human Resources, Asset Protection, Safety, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Support assigned projects, initiatives, and operational activities through timely execution and follow-through.
- Assist with implementation of process updates, procedural changes, and compliance initiatives.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the business operation and understand how safety and Asset Protection practices support overall site performance.
- Escalate risks appropriately while partnering with stakeholders to identify practical solutions.
- Participate in site meetings, safety discussions, operational reviews, and other collaborative forums as required.
- Gather, review, and interpret safety, compliance, Asset Protection, workers' compensation, and operational data.
- Prepare reports using established templates, systems, dashboards, or reporting tools.
- Review data across multiple systems to validate completeness and accuracy.
