Facility Mechanic / Skilled Carpenter - Commercial Construction & Maintenance
Location:
Massachusetts (Field-Based)
Compensation: $63,500 - $85,000 + Performance Incentives + Company Vehicle
A well-established commercial construction and facility services organization is seeking an experienced Facility Mechanic / Skilled Carpenter to support construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair projects throughout New England.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys variety in their work, interacting with clients, coordinating subcontractors, and managing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Perform commercial carpentry, drywall, framing, flooring, maintenance, and general construction tasks
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project schedules
- Communicate daily with Project Managers regarding project progress
- Maintain project documentation, field reports, and progress photos
- Assist with project layout and execution
- Interface directly with clients and customers on job sites
- Travel throughout New England as needed to support projects
- Support day, evening, overnight, and weekend work schedules when required
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience
- 10+ years of commercial carpentry experience
- Experience with drywall, framing, flooring, concrete, and maintenance projects
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Ability to coordinate vendors and subcontractors
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel and work flexible schedules based on project demands
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Construction Supervisor License
- Commercial renovation or facility maintenance experience
